City of Cottonwood seeks a Water Treatment Operator to monitor, operate and maintain water production, treatment and pumping facilities under the supervision of the Water Treatment Foreman. You will ensure compliance with ADEQ and federal water quality standards to protect public health and safety.

Requirements include a valid Arizona driver's license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and (desirable) 1 year of potable water treatment experience.

Formación

• Must possess a valid Arizona Driver’s License by hire date.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of potable water treatment operations experience desirable.
• Must possess or obtain within six months of hire a Grade I Water Treatment Operator Certificate from ADEQ.

Responsabilidades

• Monitors, operates and maintains water production, treatment, and pumping facilities.
• Ensures all phases of water operations meet or exceed ADEQ and federal water quality requirements to protect public health and safety.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
