The Walsh Group, Ltd. is seeking a Surveyor Manager for our Water Division in the Atlanta, GA and Cartersville, GA area.

The role oversees construction survey crews, providing horizontal and vertical control derived from plans and documents, to field production operations. The ideal candidate will have a 4-year degree in construction or engineering or 10 years of survey staking experience; Trimble Business Center experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in construction, engineering or related field is required or 10 years of survey construction staking experience.
• Trimble Business Center experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction survey crew providing horizontal and vertical control.
• Gather field survey data using conventional methods and GPS; set up and operate surveying equipment.
• Prepare field notes and drawings; perform field surveys for roadway, bridges, and infrastructure projects.
• Produce detailed maps with accurate surveying data and ensure timely delivery.
• Train crew members on surveying technology and methods.
