Golden State Water Company is seeking an entry-level Water Supply Operator I in California to operate and monitor pumping, chemical feed and water storage systems. The role supports plant equipment maintenance and 24/7 emergency response within a large investor-owned water utility.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and hold or be pursuing SWRCB certifications. Valid California driver license is required, with emphasis on safety and dependable teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Familiar with Windows, word processing, spreadsheets, and Internet.
• SWRCB Water Distribution Operator 1 certification required if no valid T1 exists.
• SWRCB Water Treatment Plant Operator 1 certification preferred at time of hire or within 18 months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Operates and monitors water supply and treatment equipment.
• Maintains plant equipment and facilities.
• Performs water level measurements and samples for analysis.
• Performs basic laboratory techniques on water samples.
• Responds to emergencies as part of a 24/7 operation.
