Job summary

The City of Azle is seeking a Utility Maintenance Worker to properly install and maintain meters, repair the water distribution system, and support sewer collection and lift stations, ensuring safe and reliable public services.

Qualifications

• Reads work orders and maps.
• Math used to determine material quantities.
• Experience with heavy equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Makes emergency repairs on water lines and sewer mains as needed.
• Locates leaks, excavates sites, repairs pipe and tests mains.
• Installs/repairs meters and reads meters for customers.
• Maintains hydrants and performs preventative maintenance on tools and vehicles.
