City of East Point seeks an experienced manager to supervise the water, sewer and meter services divisions within Public Works. You will plan, direct and review projects, schedules and procedures to meet short- and long-term goals and lead a team coordinating with engineers, developers and contractors.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible related experience, with at least two (2) years of supervisory experience.
• State certification as a Water Treatment or Distribution Operator, or ability to obtain within 24 months of hire.
• Ability to respond to emergencies 24 hours a day; valid State of Georgia driver’s license.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsabilidades

• Plans, manages and supervises the water, sewer and meter services divisions; assigns and reviews projects, develops work schedules, and directs policies.
• Manages budget and CIP projects; analyzes operations and proposes design/construction changes.
• Oversees daily operations and ensures goals are achieved; inspects sites and coordinates with developers/contractors.
• Ensures compliance with EPA/COE, EPD/DCA/Env. Health and local regulations; communicates divisional policies.
• Attends city meetings and serves on committees; oversees preventive maintenance and special programs.
