MGC Contractors, Inc. is seeking experienced Pipe Layers for our Texas Division in the San Antonio/New Braunfels area. This full-time role involves installing water and sewer lines, aligning pipes, and ensuring proper flow and compliance with project specs.

Work spans across Arizona, Texas, Utah, and New Mexico, with emphasis on the Texas division. Candidates should have relevant underground piping experience, the ability to read and follow specifications, and be prepared for outdoor work in

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Two (2) to three (3) years of related experience laying underground water lines, sanitary or storm sewers is required.
• Three (3) plus years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install mechanical joint water line and bolt together water line; install air release valves and inline valves.
• Grade for flow of sewer line pipe.
• Lay ductile water line and PVC sewer pipe; set line and grade for water lines; backfill and ensure positive sewer flow.
• Plan pipe installation or repair according to specifications.
• Align and position pipes to prepare them for welding or sealing.
