Henry County Water Authority in McDonough, GA is seeking a Water Line Locator to locate water and sewer lines and mark locations to prevent excavation damage. You will operate GPR, Vivax 810, and metal detectors to identify lines, coordinate with internal teams, and maintain detailed locate records.

The role requires a GED or high school diploma, 6 months to 1 year of related experience, and valid Georgia driver’s license with required certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months to one year related experience and/or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsabilités

• Locate water and sewer lines and mark locations.
• Operate GPR, Vivax 810 and metal detectors to identify lines.
• Coordinate with HCWA departments to support locates and provide field insights.
• Maintain records of locates including depth, type and condition.
• Provide regular reports and ensure QA and safety compliance.
