Kids for the Future is seeking an Inspector to perform construction inspection of water and sanitary sewer projects within Portage County, ensuring compliance with PCWR specifications. Daily travel across Portage County is required, with responsibilities including as-built drawings, permit validation, and contractor monitoring.

The role emphasizes safety compliance, documentation, and coordination with the Construction Engineer to maintain project progress and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of five (5) years' experience in water and/or sewer construction.
• Associate's degree in construction technology may be substituted for two (2) years of work experience.
• Must possess a valid Ohio driver's license and motor vehicle liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the installation of sanitary sewer lateral and water service connections for compliance with PCWR specifications.
• Drive daily to various locations within Portage County.
• Prepare detailed as-built drawings of all County sewer and water projects.
• Validate permits and contractor registration.
• Inspect grease traps and interceptors for compliance with PCWR designs.
