City of Phoenix is seeking a Water Services Inventory Management Coordinator to lead inventory operations across nine locations, guiding a team of about 20 professionals. You’ll develop standardized procedures, forecast needs, and oversee procurement to ensure accuracy and security of assets valued at over $22 million.

Ideal candidates bring warehousing or public sector experience, strong leadership, and proficiency with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in warehousing and stores activities; two years of which include the development, implementation, and operation of an automated inventory control system.
• Two years of supervisory experience.
• Substitutions of experience and education may be made to meet minimum requirements.
• All finalists subject to criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of standardized inventory procedures across multiple warehouse locations.
• Collaborate with operations teams to forecast and fulfill inventory needs.
• Oversee procurement activities, vendor communications, and inventory recordkeeping.
• Champion customer service initiatives and continuous process improvements.
• Ensure the security and accountability of all supplies and equipment.
• Supervise and support the team responsible for ordering, receiving, logistics, and managing inventory.
