Qualifications

• Experience collecting water-quality samples.
• Healthcare, government, or lab environment experience preferred.
• Knowledge of proper collection, labeling and transport procedures.
• Ability to complete sampling documentation and maintain chain-of-custody.
• Able to work independently with facility coordination.

Responsibilities

• Collect water samples from designated points of collection.
• Follow sampling procedures, schedules, and handling requirements.
• Label, document, package, and submit samples to the laboratory.
• Coordinate sampling with VA personnel and facility representatives.
• Maintain sampling records and documentation.
• Report sampling issues or access problems.
• Perform sampling during required hours and testing frequency.
• Follow VA safety, infection-control, and access requirements.
