Job summary

I-2-I Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Water Sampling Technician on a contract basis to support a federal water-quality testing project at VA facilities in Cleveland, Ohio.

You will collect water samples, document field activities, and ensure proper labeling and chain-of-custody for laboratory submission. The role requires working at Louis Stokes VA Medical Center and VA Outpatient Surgery Center with adherence to VA safety procedures and project schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience collecting water-quality samples is required.
• Healthcare/government or commercial laboratory environment experience preferred.
• Knowledge of proper water-sample collection, handling, labeling, and transportation procedures.
• Ability to complete sampling documentation and maintain chain-of-custody records.

Responsibilities

• Collect water samples from designated points at VA facilities.
• Follow sampling procedures, schedules, and handling requirements.
• Label, document, package, and maintain samples for laboratory submission.
• Coordinate sampling with VA personnel and facility representatives.
• Transport or ensure timely delivery of samples to the laboratory.
• Maintain accurate sampling records and documentation.
• Report sampling issues or access problems encountered in the field.
• Perform sampling during required hours and per schedule.
• Follow VA facility safety, infection-control, and access requirements.
