Aqua-Tots Swim School in Lone Tree is seeking a Water Safety Instructor to teach children to become safe, confident swimmers. You’ll deliver lessons using our curriculum, create a fun, safe learning environment, and build strong relationships with families.

The role is part-time with flexible afternoons/evenings and weekends. You’ll lead with core behaviors, follow safety protocols, and collaborate with a supportive team. Benefits include weekly pay, training, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Teach Life-Saving Skills and adapt to all ages.
• Maintain safe pool environment and follow safety procedures.
• Build relationships with families and communicate progress.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging swim lessons using the Aqua-Tots curriculum for all ages and skill levels.
• Ensure a safe environment by maintaining awareness of pool safety and following procedures.
• Build family relationships and provide updates on student progress.
• Educate and communicate with parents regarding curriculum, progression, and next steps.
• Maintain pool readiness by checking chemicals and keeping the area clean and safe.
• Support the Swim School by helping with cleaning tasks around pool deck, windows, and showers.
• Track student progress by completing Aqua-Cards at shift end.
• Collaborate with the team by attending trainings and staff meetings.
