The New Orleans Jewish Community Center is seeking a Water Safety Instructor to join our team in New Orleans, LA. You will teach swimming skills and water safety following American Red Cross curricula and assist with lesson planning and record-keeping.
Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of water teaching experience, a love for children, strong communication, and the ability to work outdoors in heat. Scheduling is in the afternoons and weekends.
The New Orleans JCC is a state-of-the-art fitness center and pool, a New Orleans early childhood education leader, a fun-filled summer day camp, and so much more. It is a place for adults to take an exercise, art, or dance class. A place for children and teens to experience learning through enrichment classes, sports leagues, family activities, and summer camps. The JCC is built on Jewish values but is welcome to everyone.
