Responsibilities
- Assisting the Water Safety Instructor in learn-to-swim and water safety courses for preschool, youth and adults.
- Monitoring and ensuring participant safety at all times.
- Assisting in creating conditions which ensure an enjoyable experience for participants.
- Assisting in implementing lesson plans with small groups or individual students.
- Assisting with set up and clean up for classes.
- Communicating effectively with Aquatics Coordinator regarding program needs.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 14 years old.
- Knowledge of swimming and water safety skills.
- Demonstrate responsible and dependable work habits.
- Communicate effectively with Water Safety Instructors.
Pay Rate: $12-$15 per hour (depending on experience)
Work Schedule: Saturday mornings and/or some weekdays after school, summer hours as well.
