Job summary

ServiceMaster Clean of Fraser Valley is seeking a Water Restoration Technician to monitor, inspect, and complete drying and demolition tasks on residential and commercial projects. You will document progress with notes, photos, and reports for insurance reimbursements and explain next steps to customers in person with supporting materials.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and strong communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in restoration or construction preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Good verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
• Experience using mobile software to enter data.
• Certifications in WTR or ASD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve work orders and plan route, load equipment, and arrive at site.
• Explain processes and next steps to customers using printed materials as a guide.
• Complete assigned jobs per procedures with a focus on quality control.
• Perform water damage restoration tasks including extraction, pack-out, demolition as directed.
• Ensure equipment, supplies, vehicles and products are properly handled; report issues.
• Inspect completed jobs, obtain customer signatures, and coordinate payments as needed.
• Monitor drying progress daily and adjust plans based on meter readings.
• Communicate customer issues and daily activities with supervisor and staff.
• Prepare documentation and photos to support insurance claims.
