Job summary

ServiceMaster Clean of Fraser Valley is seeking a Water Restoration Tech to monitor and complete drying, demolition, and restoration tasks. You will prepare and review documentation, explain processes to customers, and ensure reimbursement from insurance companies.

Responsibilities include loading equipment, performing water extraction, packing out contents, and conducting light construction as directed. Reliable transportation and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in restoration or construction is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good customer service skills.
• Experience with mobile data entry software.
• Ability to read and follow product label usage instructions.
• Punctual with proper uniform.
• Certifications such as WTR or ASD are preferred if available.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve work orders and prepare equipment and supplies for each job.
• Explain restoration processes to customers and guide next steps with printed materials as needed.
• Complete assigned jobs following company procedures while ensuring quality control.
• Perform water damage repair including extraction, contents pack-out, and light demolition as directed.
• Ensure equipment, vehicles, and products are properly handled and report any malfunctions.
• Inspect completed jobs, obtain customer signatures, and request payments when applicable.
• Monitor drying progress and adjust the plan based on meter readings.
• Communicate customer issues and job updates to supervisor and staff.
• Prepare documentation and photos to support insurance reimbursements.
