Job summary

ServiceMaster Clean of Fraser Valley is seeking a Water Restoration Technician to monitor, inspect, and complete tasks for water restoration projects, ensuring proper drying, demolition, and thorough documentation for insurance reimbursement.

You will load equipment, explain processes to customers with printed materials, perform required repairs, and maintain quality control. Training and development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer service skills.
• Experience with using mobile software to enter data.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve work orders and ensure equipment and supplies are loaded for the job.
• Explain processes and next steps to customers using printed materials where applicable.
• Complete assigned jobs following company processes while maintaining quality control on each job.
• Perform water damage repair including extraction, packing out contents, and light demolition as directed by supervisor.
• Ensure equipment, vehicles, and products are properly handled; report malfunctions to supervisor.
• Inspect jobs after completion, obtain customer signatures, and request payments when necessary.
• Monitor daily progress on water restoration jobs for residential/commercial clients with urgency.
• Adjust the drying plan based on meter readings.
• Resolve customer issues and communicate daily activities with supervisor and staff.
• Prepare documentation and photos to support insurance reimbursement.
