Job summary

ServiceMaster by ERP is seeking self-motivated Water Damage Technicians for full-time work, mainly Monday–Friday with some weekends and night on-call shifts. You will inspect, dry, and restore properties, monitor equipment, and document scenes to support insurance reimbursements.

Ideal candidates have water damage experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work in a dynamic field setting. We offer competitive hourly pay and opportunities for overtime and growth.

Responsibilities

• Load and prepare equipment and supplies for each job.

ServiceMaster by ERP is calling all self‑motivated Water Damage Technicians to apply to join our amazing team full‑time! The typical schedule for this position is Monday through Friday between 8 AM to 5 PM with some weekends and on‑call night shifts.

Perform inspections and complete tasks for Water Restoration jobs to ensure completion of demolition, drying, and various restoration activities (including monitoring and moving equipment). Prepare and review documents, scope notes, sketches, take photos according to company policies and procedures to ensure reimbursement from insurance companies.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensures appropriate equipment and supplies are loaded on truck needed for job
• Fast response to emergency water/fire damage claims and other restoration‑related activities
• Completes assigned inspection according to company processes
• Performs water mitigation to include: water extraction, pack‑out of contents, removing/disposing of non‑salvageable materials, light construction and demolition as directed by supervisor
• Ensures equipment, supplies, vehicles, tools, and products are properly handled.
• Set up and operate equipment such as dehumidifiers, air movers, and air scrubbers.
• Performs daily monitoring and tasks on assigned water jobs
• Communicates customer issues and daily job activities with supervisor and key company staff
• Prepares documentation and pictures according to company policies and procedures to ensure reimbursement from insurance companies
• Perform field restoration activities including demolition (removal of drywall, insulation, carpet and carpet pad, etc.) cleaning, emergency flood service, restorative drying, fire and smoke damage cleaning and deodorization, content cleaning, pack out and storage and other specialized cleaning.
• Inspects jobs after completion and obtains customer signatures for approval purposes
• Using company software to update or review job information and thoroughly document work done (take photos and properly document all work).

IICRC Certification in Water Damage Restoration not required but preferred

Requirements

• Bilingual is not required but preferred
• High School or Equivalent
• Must have a valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Must have WATER DAMAGE experience
• Experience in the restoration or construction industry

Hourly Rate: $18 - $25 depending on experience / Overtime hours available
