Job summary

ServiceMaster Restore® is seeking a Water Restoration Technician to perform water mitigation and restoration for residential and commercial customers. You will complete drying, demolition, cleanup, and restoration tasks while documenting progress for insurance claims and communicating next steps to customers.

The role requires reliability, a valid driver’s license, and comfort using mobile apps for field documentation.

Responsibilities

• Resolve customer concerns and communicate updates to supervisors.
• Complete accurate job notes, photos, and documentation for insurance purposes.

Position Overview

The Water Restoration Technician performs water mitigation and restoration services for residential and commercial customers. This role completes drying, demolition, cleanup, and restoration tasks while documenting progress through notes, photos, and reports for insurance claims. The technician also communicates directly with customers regarding job progress and next steps.

Responsibilities

• Arrive on time and maintain a professional appearance.


• Explain restoration processes and next steps to customers.


• Perform water extraction, demolition, pack-outs, debris removal, and light construction tasks.


• Monitor active jobs daily and adjust drying plans based on moisture readings.


• Inspect completed work, obtain customer signatures, and collect payment when needed.


• Maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment; report damage or malfunctions.


• Resolve customer concerns and communicate updates to supervisors.

• Restoration or construction experience preferred, but not required.


• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

• Must be available for alternating on-call schedule.

Physical Requirements
