Job summary

Restoration 1 of Louisville East seeks a Team Lead for water damage cleanup and restoration on local job sites. Lead field activities such as water extraction, mold remediation, content handling, and drying setup to ensure safe, efficient restoration projects.

We value dependable, hardworking teammates with opportunities for training and advancement. Expect 40–60 hours per week in a full-time role, with evenings and weekends on-call as needed.

Qualifications

• IICRC WRT/ASD certification preferred
• IICRC AMRT certification asset
• 2+ years industry experience in Construction/Restoration/Insurance
• Familiarity with chemical products including use, disposal, and SDS
• Comprehensive understanding of customer service, principles, and practices
• Eligible to operate a motor vehicle per Restoration 1’s vehicle policy
• Ability to work within a team or independently as needed
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient with basic computer/tablet usage
• Willing to work evenings, on call and weekends when requested
• Periodic travel may be required
• Criminal Record Check

Restoration 1 of Louisville East is a locally owned restoration company serving the greater Louisville area. We specialize in water damage cleanup, structural drying, and property restoration. Responsibilities

This role would be considered a Team lead in the following areas:

Working on job sites providing the following services:

• Water pumping and extraction
• Mold remediation
• Moving & re-setting contents
• Selective demolition as required to accommodate the drying process
• Debris disposal
• Setting drying equipment
• Carpet or hard surface cleaning
• Capable of moisture mapping the affected area, inclusive of temperature, relative humidity, & moisture content readings

Participating as directed in the following activities:

• Vehicle safety and maintenance inspections
• Ensure vehicle is cleaned and restocked at end of shift
• Constructing polyethylene enclosures
• Maintaining equipment
• Practice good housekeeping to ensure a safe and non-cluttered worksite
• Provide excellent customer service
• Work under time constraints to meet specific timelines
• Ensure attention to detail and keen sense of safeguarding other people’s property and information
• Participates in and demonstrates an understanding of safety principles and practices; follows all safety policies and procedures to support a safe working environment, including safe operation of machines and equipment
• Comply with all Restoration 1 policies and procedures
• Attend all Restoration 1 sponsored training courses

Qualifications

• IICRC certification for Water Restoration Technician (WRT/ASD) preferred
• IICRC certification for Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT) an asset
• 2+ years industry related experience, Construction / Restoration / Insurance preferred
• Familiarity with chemical products including use, disposal, and Safety Data Sheets
• Comprehensive understanding of customer service, principles, and practices
• Eligible to operate a motor vehicle per Restoration 1’s vehicle policy
• Ability to work within a team or independently as needed
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer and/or Tablet / iPad experience
• Willing to work evenings, on call and weekends when requested
• Periodic travel may be required
• Criminal Record Check

Physical Demands

• Frequent lifting from 5-40 lbs, unassisted (from 35-65% of the time)
• Occasional lifting from 41 lbs +, assisted (up to 50% of the time)
• Access and mobility in tight spaces
• Fit Testing – half and full-face mask as needed; annual certification required
• Working at Heights - over 5 feet, periodically
• Sustained periods of standing, sitting, walking, bending, and kneeling
