Job summary

Voda Cleaning & Restoration in New Jersey is seeking a Carpet Cleaning and Restoration Technician to service homes and businesses, performing mold mitigation and water damage restoration while maintaining equipment. You will document work orders and communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction.

Competitive hourly wages, ongoing training, and advancement opportunities are offered as you gain certifications such as WRT, AMRT, ASD, and FSRT.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience: 3-5 years of restoration experience preferred.
• Skills: Basic math skills to determine appropriate equipment usage; Proficiency in using computers, email, and mobile reporting tools.
• Preferred Certifications (IICRC Certified Candidates Highly Desired): Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT) - preferred but not required.
• Opportunities for advanced certification in Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT), Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT), Applied Structural Drying Technician (ASD), Fire and Smoke Damage Restoration Technician (FSRT).

Responsibilities

• Provide restoration services, including mold mitigation and fire & water damage restoration (certification opportunities available).
• Accurately complete documentation and obtain customer authorizations.
• Communicate effectively with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and company vehicles.
• Maintain inventory and stock of tools and materials.
• Keep a detailed daily log and complete work orders.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry equipment and technology.
• Uphold company standards by demonstrating professionalism, reliability, and accountability.
