Job summary

Voda Cleaning & Restoration is seeking a Carpet Cleaning and Restoration Technician to join our on-site team. You will deliver high-quality cleaning, mold mitigation, and water/fire damage restoration while documenting work and communicating with customers.

Opportunities for advancement and ongoing training are available. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 3–5 years restoration experience, and basic math plus computer/reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience: 3-5 years of restoration experience preferred.
• Skills: Basic math, computer/email reporting proficiency.
• Certifications: IICRC certifications desired; CCT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide restoration services, including mold mitigation and fire & water damage restoration (certification opportunities available).
• Accurately complete documentation and obtain customer authorizations.
• Communicate effectively with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and company vehicles.
• Maintain inventory and stock of tools and materials.
• Keep a detailed daily log and complete work orders.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry equipment and technology.
• Uphold company standards by demonstrating professionalism, reliability, and accountability.

• Qualifications & Experience
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience
    • 3-5 years of restoration experience preferred.
• Skills
  • Basic math skills to determine appropriate equipment usage.
  • Proficiency in using computers, email, and mobile reporting tools.
  • Preferred Certifications (IICRC Certified Candidates Highly Desired):
    • Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT) – preferred but not required.
  • Opportunities for advanced certification in
    • Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT)
    • Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT)
    • Applied Structural Drying Technician (ASD)
    • Fire and Smoke Damage Restoration Technician (FSRT)
