Job summary

Dry Force in Austin, Texas is hiring a Technician Apprentice for a full-time position with no experience required and on-the-job training.

As a Technician Apprentice, you will remove, replace and repair water damaged materials, set up air movers, dehumidifiers, and HEPA air scrubbers to restore property, and work closely with the management team to ensure customers are well cared for; you will communicate in a friendly and professional manner with teammates and clients.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to Pass a Drug Screen.
• Clear Criminal Background.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Handle any issues caused by water damage and remove and replace damaged materials
• Responsible for setting up air movers, dehumidifiers, and HEPA air scrubbers to restore damaged property
• Work closely with the management team to ensure customers are well taken care of
• Communicate in a friendly and professional manner with teammates and customers
• Follow company policies to maintain safety, quality, and a professional image
• Drive a company vehicle to and from job sites while following all state traffic laws and company policies
• Document drying progress using a phone or tablet
