Job summary

Symetri seeks a Technology Consultant - Civil/Water Resources to join our Infrastructure team. You will evaluate workflows, implement solutions, and drive improvements across design, modeling, and operations for water infrastructure projects.

Ideal candidates have civil engineering credentials, 3+ years in the field or tech consulting, and hands-on Autodesk Water Infrastructure experience with InfoWater, InfoDrainage, InfoWorks, and Info360, plus AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcGIS proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in civil/water resources engineering or related technology consulting.
• Hands-on experience with Autodesk Water Infrastructure solutions (InfoWater, InfoDrainage, InfoWorks, Info360).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Esri ArcGIS.
• Experience with water, wastewater, or utility system design, planning, and operations.
• Licensure or certifications (P.E., ENV SP, CFM, GISP) a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, demonstrate, and integrate AEC technologies to improve workflows.
• Translate client business challenges into effective technical solutions.
• Deliver technical support, training, and implementation services.
• Develop standards, workflows, and documentation for modeling and design processes.
• Lead client engagements, including solution presentations and discovery discussions.
• Define ROI and business outcomes; communicate value to clients.
• Support sales with technical demos and webinars; build long-term client relationships.
