Job summary

Ardurra is hiring a Project Manager for our Watershed practice in Charleston, SC. The Project Manager will lead green infrastructure and nature-based solutions projects, focusing on planning, modeling, and delivery for municipal clients.

With 8+ years of experience in civil/environmental engineering and a PE license preferred, you will mentor junior staff, manage budgets and schedules, and maintain strong relationships with local agencies in South Carolina.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field.
• PE license or other relevant licensure preferred.
• Approximately 8+ years of directly applicable experience.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to function efficiently within a team.
• Comfort with AutoCAD, Hydro CAD, ArcGIS or other design or modeling software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating tasks, motivating team members, fostering positive communication, and collaboration.
• Support in monitoring the budget, schedule, and quality of projects within the group.
• Experience in proposal writing to obtain work.
• Have strong and established relationships with local municipalities/agencies within the state of South Carolina, ideally in the Upstate region.
• Provide technical leadership for projects as a mentor to junior members of the team.
• Supervising staff and recruitment of new staff when needed.

Primary Function

The Project Manager will play an important role in leading, supporting, and delivering projects involving green infrastructure and nature-based solutions, watershed planning and modeling, traditional stormwater infrastructure projects. Key responsibilities will focus on project execution and delivery, providing exceptional client service, and mentoring the team. Innovation and collaboration will be highly valued.

• Comfort with AutoCAD, Hydro CAD, ArcGIS or other design or modeling software.
