Job summary

Ardurra is seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer to lead our Watershed Practice in Greenville, SC. You will mentor junior engineers and collaborate with practice directors on high-profile municipal projects across the Southeast, delivering resilient stormwater and ecological restoration solutions.

The position requires a Civil/Environmental Engineering degree and a PE license is preferred, with 8+ years of water resources experience and proficiency in AutoCAD, HydroCAD, ArcGIS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or related discipline).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• 8+ years of water resources or stormwater engineering experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, HydroCAD, ArcGIS, and other design/modeling software.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement innovative stormwater management systems, including drainage, retention, and green infrastructure.
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using SWMM, HEC-RAS, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and GIS.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, and permitting documents.
• Conduct site evaluations and support environmental impact assessments.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-disciplinary teams to develop creative, cost-effective solutions.
• Assist with field inspections, data collection, and site assessments.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, regulations, and best management practices (BMPs).
