Job summary

Haley Ward in Portsmouth, NH is seeking a Water Resources Project Engineer to plan, organize, and control municipal water, sewer, and stormwater projects within schedules, budgets, and QA/QC policies. You will work in a team environment on a broad range of engineering projects from planning through implementation.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Civil Engineering, 4+ years design experience in water/wastewater, and a PE license or EIT on track.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering is required.
• PE license or EIT on track to PE with relevant experience.
• Minimum of 3 years design experience with water/wastewater systems.
• SCADA design/integration knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and control project activities to meet schedules and budgets.
• Prepare plans and specifications for each project.
• Perform engineering computations for complex projects.
• Interface with regulatory staff and represent clients at agency meetings.
• Lead hydraulic design for municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater systems.
• Design and integrate SCADA/control systems for water infrastructure.
• Mentor junior engineers and support business development.
