Job summary

HWC Engineering, a full-service civil engineering firm based in Indiana, is seeking a Project Engineer specializing in water, wastewater and stormwater projects. You will work with our project management team to support and drive development, interface with clients, and grow your technical capabilities.

The role requires a civil engineering degree, 3–5 years of experience, and the ability to obtain EIT or PE licensure in Indiana.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in civil engineering; Water Resources focus preferred.
• 3–5 years’ civil engineering experience preferred.
• EIT or Professional Engineer license (Indiana reciprocity acceptable).
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong data analysis and organizational abilities.
• Ethical standards and teamwork mindset.

Responsibilities

• Understand design concepts and apply them to water, wastewater and stormwater projects.
• Develop engineering work for municipal water, wastewater and stormwater projects: planning, design, construction administration and inspection.
• Prepare bidding documents for municipal public works projects.
• Coordinate engineering projects with unique and complex criteria.
