Job summary

AECOM’s Water Business Line is seeking Project Engineers to support Water, Wastewater, and Water Resources in Southern New England (Chelmsford, MA) with a focus on planning, design, and condition assessments.

You will work on utility design projects, perform site investigations, cost estimating, and construction administration, gaining exposure to senior engineers and regulatory coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of related experience in water, wastewater, and stormwater utility projects.
• PE licensure or ability to obtain within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for utility design projects including treatment plants, pump stations, water line design, rehabilitation, master planning, and construction administration.
• Create designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, and final working drawings.
• Work under supervision of a senior project manager and collaborate with clients and regulators.
• Perform data gathering, site visits, field measurements, and mapping; prepare reports and ensure compliance with regulations.

Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering, Environmental Engineering or related discipline
