Job summary

Ardaman & Associates, Inc. in Orlando, FL is seeking a Water Resources Engineer for a full-time role to focus on water numerical modeling for surface water and water quality. The candidate will contribute to large and medium-scale hydrology and hydraulic projects in a collaborative team setting.

The position requires a B.S. in Civil Engineering with a Master’s in Water Resources Engineering and strong written and verbal communication skills. Office-based with occasional fieldwork, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering with a Master's degree in Water Resources Engineering.
• Strong technical skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical work on a variety of water resources engineering projects.
• Develop, apply, and evaluate water numerical models for surface water and water quality analyses.
• Contribute to large and medium-scale H&H engineering projects.
• Perform watershed studies, stormwater analyses and retrofits, drainage design, permitting, and related tasks.
• Work independently while contributing effectively in a team-based environment.
• Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
