Job summary

Ardurra is seeking a Stormwater/Water Resources Project Engineer to join our Watershed Services team in our Atlanta (Marietta) Georgia office!

The role focuses on designing and supporting stormwater management projects, applying hydrologic/hydraulic modeling and collaborating with senior engineers to deliver resilient solutions for municipal clients. PE or EIT status is preferred and opportunity to advance within a growing firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Approximately 4 to 6 years of water resources/stormwater engineering experience.
• Exposure to stormwater modeling software (HEC-RAS, SWMM, HydroCAD), AutoCAD Civil 3D, and GIS is a plus.
• PE certification preferred or ability to obtain within one year; EIT if no PE.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze and support the project manager on stormwater management projects.
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using software like SWMM, HEC-RAS, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and GIS.
• Assist in preparing stormwater reports, calculations, and permitting documents.
• Conduct site evaluations and environmental impact assessments.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams to develop solutions.
• Assist in field inspections, data collection, and site assessments.
• Stay informed on stormwater regulations and BMPs.
