Job summary

HDR is seeking an experienced Water Resources Practice Leader | Irrigation & Water Infrastructure to grow our water infrastructure and irrigation services across the region. You will lead planning, design, and delivery of civil projects and mentor diverse teams.

Required qualifications include a BE degree, PE license, and 7+ years in water resources or related fields. The role is based in Montana and reports to the Integrated Watershed Management group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; PE license preferred or required by location.
• Master's degree in Engineering is preferred for senior leadership responsibilities.
• Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for water resources and civil infrastructure projects from planning through final design and construction support.
• Lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams, ensuring technical excellence and professional development.
• Manage projects with high quality and client-focused delivery, coordinating staffing and resources.
• Develop and maintain client relationships with municipal, state, federal, tribal, and private-sector clients.
• Support business development, including strategic planning, client engagement, proposal development, and pursuits.
