VHB's Richmond, VA office is seeking a Water Resources Intern for Summer 2027. The position offers an internship/co-op experience with exposure to multiple phases of water resources projects and collaboration with a diverse team.

Responsibilities include assisting with engineering calculations, drainage design development for transportation projects, CAD support, field data collection, and quantity take-offs.

Responsibilities

• Interact with VHB staff to advance projects in a timely manner
• Assist with engineering calculations, analysis, and report preparation
• Assist with development of drainage designs for transportation projects
• Assist with CAD support for design projects
• Perform quantity take-offs and calculations for construction estimates
• Perform field investigations and data collection for new and ongoing projects
