Job summary

Dewberry is seeking a Water Resources Engineering Intern for our Fairfax, VA office during Summer 2027. This opportunity offers hands-on experience on water resources projects with a team of professionals and exposure to the latest modeling tools.

The ideal candidate is pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Civil Engineering and has knowledge of water quality modeling, hydraulics, and drainage design. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's in Civil Engineering or related field required.
• Knowledge of water quality modeling, wastewater modeling, and water quality regulatory issues.
• Knowledge of floodplain delineation, storm water management, culvert and bridge hydraulics, and drainage design.
• Previous internship experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Proficiency in MS Office software.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
