Job summary

Stantec is growing its Water Resources team in Texas and seeks a Water Resources/Hydrology & Hydraulics Team Lead to develop high-performing teams, lead complex H&H and stormwater projects, and grow Texas accounts. The role emphasizes leadership, technical excellence in H&H modeling, and mentoring a diverse team across multiple offices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Licensed Professional Engineer in Texas, or able to obtain within 6 months.
Minimum 12–15 years of experience in water resources projects (flood modeling, flood control, river restoration).

Responsibilities

Lead water resources projects (H&H, stormwater, drainage) across teams.
Mentor junior and mid-level staff toward high-performance delivery.
Oversee project quality, budgets, schedules, and client communication.
Support business development, client interviews, and marketing efforts.
Promote health, safety, and strong corporate values.
