Marina Coast Water District is seeking a Water Resources Technician I/II to support groundwater monitoring, field data collection, and data analysis. The role combines office-based technical work with hands-on field activities at wells and monitoring sites.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of groundwater, hydrology, and SGMA, plus experience in data management and report preparation. This is a full-time position on the Monterey Bay Central Coast region.

Formación

• Knowledge of groundwater, hydrology, and water resources management.
• Experience with field data collection, sampling, and recordkeeping.
• Ability to analyze hydrologic and water quality data and prepare reports.
• Familiarity with SGMA and related groundwater regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Perform groundwater monitoring and water quality sampling.
• Coordinate field data collection and well infrastructure projects.
• Prepare resource plans, annual reports, and regulatory documents.
• Collaborate with consultants, labs, and partner agencies.
