Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a Water Resources Engineering Lead for senior-level responsibilities in Virginia. The role focuses on leading stream and wetland restoration, water resources projects, and stormwater management while mentoring engineers and coordinating with clients.

The position requires a PE license, 15+ years of progressive experience, and strong leadership and communication skills to drive complex projects forward.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Biological Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline.
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Approximately 15 or more years of progressive engineering experience.
  • Extensive experience leading engineering projects involving stream restoration, wetland restoration, stormwater management, or water resources.
  • Strong understanding of engineering design principles, hydrology, hydraulics, and environmental regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience reviewing technical documents and performing quality assurance/quality control.
  • Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams and mentoring technical staff.
  • Strong communication and client relationship management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.

  • Experience contributing to business development, proposal preparation, and project pursuits.
  • Familiarity with restoration construction methods and field implementation.
