Job summary

Verdantas invites a driven civil/environmental engineering student to join our Summer 2027 internship at our Philadelphia location. You will contribute to stormwater design through calculations, drawings, and data-driven analyses under mentorship from experienced engineers.

The role offers hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and standard MS Office tools, with exposure to fieldwork and project review. Flexible, people-first culture and a focus on growth and learning are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Experience with water resources or green stormwater infrastructure is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required; AutoCAD/Civil 3D a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing engineering-related calculations, design drawings, specifications, and visual aids, including hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, to support stormwater design.
• Prepare CAD drawings in accordance with Verdantas and client standards.
• Assist with fieldwork (e.g., construction observation, site visits).
• Review submittals and technical documents to assess compliance with project requirements and prepare draft documents.
