Job summary

Dewberry is seeking a Water Resources Engineering Intern for our Owings Mills, MD office for Summer 2027. You will assist in concept-level design of treatment works and analyze hydrologic and hydraulic models to support stormwater and watershed master planning.

This internship offers hands-on project experience, exposure to our projects and clients, and opportunities to develop professional skills in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in Water Resources or related field is required.
• Knowledge of water quality modeling, wastewater modeling, and water quality regulatory issues.
• Knowledge of floodplain delineation, storm water management, culvert and bridge hydraulics, and drainage design.
• Previous internship experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
