Jacobs seeks a Water Resources Engineer intern to support local and global clients on cutting-edge projects. You will help develop analyses for water resources planning and design, and assist with storage, conveyance, and distribution projects under professional guidance.
Ideal candidates are pursuing a BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering with a 3.0 GPA, rising junior status, and familiarity with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; visa sponsorship is not required.
We’re seeking Civil and Environmental Engineers with an interest in Water Resources Engineering to support the delivery of cutting-edge projects for both local and global clients.
As a Water Resources Engineer work would include development and application of environmental and water resources analyses to support local, regional, state, and federal water management planning and design studies; planning and design for water storage, conveyance, and distribution projects; performing research, technical writing, and development of documentation and studies as well as data collection, processing, and analysis to support water resources planning activities. Local projects may also include stormwater management planning and design, green infrastructure design, and stormwater program support.

In pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an accredited program
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Ideally, you’ll also have:
3.0 GPA
Must be at least a rising Junior
Working knowledge of AutoCAD
A previous internship related to your field of study
Self-driven time management and organizational skill
