Dewberry in Gainesville, VA is seeking a Water Resources Engineering Intern for Summer 2027. Interns gain hands‑on project experience and apply classroom knowledge to real projects.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of water quality modeling, wastewater modeling, and water quality regulatory issues.
• Knowledge of floodplain delineation, storm water management, culvert and bridge hydraulics, and drainage design.
• Previous internship experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office software.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Not eligible for work‑authorization sponsorship.

Salary Range: $17.75/hour – $28.75/hour (may vary with skills, experience, location, and market conditions).
