Moffatt & Nichol in Seattle seeks a Junior Water Resources Engineer to join our WRES Group. You will help develop surface water and coastal hydraulic models, assist in calculations, and contribute to reports and exhibits for project teams.
You're expected to work with local and national teams, support plans and bid packages, and communicate findings to clients and agencies. A FE/EIT certification and a civil/environmental engineering degree are preferred, with a PE as a plus.
We are actively looking for a Junior level Water Resources Engineer to join our Seattle office. As part of the WRES Group, the Water Resources Engineer will work closely with local and national WRES and Coastal teams to support the development of surface water and coastal hydraulic, hydrologic, and hydrodynamic modeling; assist in performing engineering calculations to solve problems related to civil design, surface water, and hydraulics; assist in preparation of exhibits, reports, and presentations to illustrate findings and recommendations; support preparation of plans, specifications, estimates and other documents; and liaise with different individuals and agencies, including government agencies, local authorities, and contractors.

$85,000 to $115,000 annually based on years of experience, level of education obtained, professional registration, and meeting the required qualifications in the job description. Base salary range only applicable for candidates who will be hired and working in the Washington market.
