Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Engineering Intern in Cincinnati, OH to support water resources projects this summer. You will assist engineers with hydraulic modeling, GIS mapping, planning and design tasks and prepare contract documents under senior guidance.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
• Good communication (both written and verbal), problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist water resource engineers with hydraulic modeling, GIS mapping, planning and design.
• Prepare contract documents and support construction phase activities.
• Work under mentors to design infrastructure such as sanitary collection systems and water/wastewater facilities.
