Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Site Civil Engineer intern for our Water Resources team to gain hands-on experience on water infrastructure projects. You will assist with planning, design, and delivery of municipal water facilities, including dams, pump stations, and conveyance systems, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• In pursuit of a bachelor's in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering with a focus on Water in an accredited program.
• Has an interest in Water or has done previous water related.
• Must be at least a rising Junior.
• Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future.
• 3.0 GPA.
• In pursuit of a master's degree.
• A previous internship, teaching assistance, or research related to water and wastewater engineering.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of management within Jacobs.
• Self-driven time management and organizational skills.
• Have or are working towards an engineer‑in‑training (EIT) certification.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and ArcGIS Pro.
