Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is offering a Water Resources Engineering Intern position in South Jordan, UT as part of the Summer Internship Program.

The role targets undergraduates and graduates, with a 12-week schedule starting May 17, 2027, and a flexible start date. Interns will gain hands-on experience by supporting engineering tasks, learning water resources concepts, and assisting with research, field work, and preliminary design calculations.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in an accredited civil/environmental engineering undergraduate program.
• Anticipated graduation in 2027 or 2028.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to convey ideas to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Support a variety of engineering tasks to develop technical, social, and ethical skills.
• Learn basic principles of water resources, modeling, hydrology, hydraulics engineering.
• Assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations and analysis.
• Support preparation of final design plans, provisions, and cost estimates.
• Assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation.
• Complete training on assigned tasks.
• Adhere to company policies and safety standards.
