Job summary

VHB is seeking a Senior Water Resources Project Manager in Providence, RI to lead hydrology and hydraulics projects across New England. You will guide multi-disciplinary teams, perform advanced hydraulics modeling, and deliver technically rigorous water resources solutions for riverine and coastal environments.

Ideal candidates have 11+ years in water resources, a PE license, and a BS in Civil/Environmental Engineering (MS can substitute 2 years).

Qualifications

  • 11+ years of experience in water resources engineering and analysis.
  • BS in Civil/Environmental Engineering; master’s degree may substitute for 2 years of experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multi-disciplinary projects with hydrologic, hydraulic, and resiliency focus.
  • Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic analyses using industry-standard software.
  • Prepare technical reports, design plans, and construction documents.
  • Lead project proposals, scopes of work, and fee estimates.
  • Mentor junior staff and support staff development.
