Job summary

Woolpert is seeking a Water Resources / Environmental Engineer to support technical delivery across Florida and the Southeast, focusing on water resources, wastewater, and environmental projects. The hybrid role involves field investigations, data analysis, and client-focused problem solving within a multidisciplinary team.

You will collaborate with engineers, scientists, planners, GIS specialists, and data analysts to develop analyses and deliverables, including monitoring, modeling, and design

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Proficient in MS Office with strong Excel skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational abilities.
• Able to perform outdoor fieldwork in varying weather conditions.
• Willingness to travel locally across Central Florida and surrounding areas.
• Ability to work both independently and in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Participate in field investigations, environmental monitoring, and data collection activities.
• Support planning, design, analysis, and implementation of water resources projects.
• Perform engineering calculations, prepare reports and maps.
• Assist with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and infrastructure assessments.
• Utilize GIS and data management tools to support project objectives.
• Coordinate with engineers, scientists, GIS professionals, and project managers.
• Ensure adherence to QA/QC standards and communicate risks to leadership.
