• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Planning, Environment or Natural Sciences, or a related field.
• Ten (10) years of work experience in water and energy related projects with experience with state or federal agencies.
• Four (4) years of managerial experience.

• Manages the natural resources section, directing studies, regulatory compliance, plan review, permitting, enforcement, and public outreach.
• Supervises staff, issues assignments, evaluates performance, defines goals, and develops program policies.
• Represents the department on boards, committees, public hearings, and with the Director or Deputy County Manager.
• Reviews facility and regional environmental planning documents and integrates county facilities into regional scopes.
