Job summary

Infrastructure Consulting & Engineering (ICE) in Georgia is seeking a Water Resource Design Intern for a 12-week program to gain real-world experience in drainage design and water resources engineering. You will work with project managers, perform field data collection, and assist with design, contract documents, and project management tasks.

Ideal candidates are actively pursuing a Civil or Environmental Engineering degree, junior or senior, with interest in hydrology and stormwater.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a Civil or Environmental Engineering degree. Academic junior or senior desired.
• Prior internship experience preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Work with water resources engineers on drainage design.
• Perform engineering calculations and develop hydrologic models.
• Support civil design, stream restoration, and other water resources projects.
• Support stormwater management programs and environmental permitting.
• Assist with field investigations and data collection.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation.
