Job summary

Conservation Corps Minnesota & Iowa in Preston, MN seeks Clean Water Corpsmembers to learn soil and water resource management within a SWCD. You will assist groundwater monitoring, inventories, and outreach, under supervision, while supporting community and habitat projects.

You’ll gain hands-on field experience, participate in trainings, and work with local landowners. Eligible for AmeriCorps Education Award and a living allowance; housing not guaranteed.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills for outreach with landowners and community members.
• Familiarity with MS Office software is preferred.
• Knowledge of GIS software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete service projects safely and effectively to meet host expectations.
• Design outreach materials and assist with data collection and field work.
• Document project information and attend required AmeriCorps trainings.
